Andre LaMon

Andre LaMon, a Homeland Security Investigations special agent, testified on Day 27 about leading the Los Angeles team that executed the March 25, 2024 search warrant at 200 South Mapleton Drive, a property he understood Sean Combs owned. On direct examination, he described the search and inventory process, authenticated photographs and recovered items, and addressed controlled substances, electronic devices, personal products, and firearms.

LaMon identified firearms, magazines, and ammunition recovered from the security room. He testified that one rifle's serial number appeared to have been removed. By stipulation, the court admitted exhibits concerning ketamine recovered in six yellow envelopes from the master bedroom and MDMA found in a bag in a safe there.

Before his testimony, the court limited the presentation to matters within LaMon's personal knowledge and permitted testimony about firearms he found and maintained in the chain of custody. The court overruled a defense relevance and Rule 403 objection to firearms photographs while noting that the objection had been preserved.

On cross-examination, LaMon agreed that the firearms and ammunition he discussed were recovered from the security office rather than bedrooms or elsewhere in the house. He said he did not know whether the office door had been locked, how the gun safe was opened, whether the long guns had been inside it, or whether photographs documented the safe's contents after it was opened. He also testified that the SRT entry team made weapons safe before the search team entered and did not photograph their initial placement.
